To be fair the insurers give you dire warnings about this but they’re more concerned about someone driving off with your pride and joy. We knew we were safe at the back of the Shaw Hill Hotel and Country Club where we’d been celebrating Matthew and Diane’s wedding. What we didn’t know was that the previously useless automated central locking system would decide to work when we were a hundred yards away giving the dogs their last walk before bed… and yes the keys were inside.
Ian (nephew) and Austin (great nephew) managed to manoeuvre their way into the van via the underbed locker. What heroes! And what a shame we didn’t have the camera to take a picture of them both in the underbed locker – Ian pushing up the bed and Austin wriggling his way into the van. Thanks guys – you were wonderful.
Now I have a confession to make. In the early hours of the morning it came to me that I’d left the keys on the kitchen worktop and the kitchen window was open. If you’re reading this Ian I’m sorry it took another 5 or 6 hours for it to dawn on me.
cant say we didn’t warn you 😉
