Skye Camping & Caravan Club Site, Edinbane: Review

This is a club site on a working croft on the banks of a sea loch. Very popular and the most expensive site we stayed on in the whole trip. We paid £26 per night because it was the May holiday weekend.

Good facilities, lovely wardens and a fabulous dog walk along the loch side. Really excellent information centre with literally thousands of tourist ideas. Highlight for us was the traditional music at the Edinbane Inn on Friday evenings. Well worth a visit. Midges when it is warm and still are pretty ferocious here so I would avoid visiting in the height of the season.

9/10  – we think that the club charges too much for members in high season.
